Tanzania Travel Blog goes live

The first entry - now read what this is all about
and just what is awaiting you here.

Hi, this is Jan, and today is the best day of my life.

As it happens I was sent on an astonishing trip to Africa. To Tanzania, to be more precise.
Right now I am in Dar es Salaam where my trip begins. In the following weeks I will provide you with stories, photos, and videos about the most amazing places Tanzania has to offer. You will discover the beautiful wildlife of the Serengeti Park, enjoy Africa’s fantastic nature and share exclusive insights into the soon to be opened luxury Bilila Lodge Kempinski. After Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro and much more, we will continue to he vast beaches of Zanzibar - sounds nice, right?

The whole trip will be about three weeks long - we’ll try to give you an overview every few days. It’s almost live, so watch this space!

The story behind the adventure

The idea behind this trip is as amazing as so speedily told! In order to open their new Bilila Lodge, the luxury hotel chain Kempinski wanted to introduce the beauty of this country to as many people as possible. And because they don’t do things by half, Kempinski decided to send out a traveller to explore the country and share the exclusive insights with you on this website. To my great pleasure, I was chosen for this job.

The next steps were to plan and to organise the whole trip and to build up this website (E-Formation’s reliable team did the whole job in next to no time). And now we are ready to start.

What’s in this for you?

Well, besides having me to test-drive the trip for you. I’m sure the the team will come up with some nice surprises. So, stay tuned and enjoy the adventures!

Baadaye, take care,
Jan

Me and my husband went for a conference in Dar and I stay in Kilimanjaro Hotel, it was just fantastic. Friendly and open people, always their for you.

After the conference, we decided to take the opportunity that me and my husband where in east africa to go climb Kilimanjaro. We climb with a company call east african voyage, http://www.eastafricanvoyage.com, the service in the climb was similar to a 5* hotel service. All their staff supported us to the top of Africa with all the care and professionalism, food was amazing. At the summit, I felt like I was flying on the wing of an airplane.

In safari, we went to some tented lodge in Ngorongoro and had the opportunity to experience Bilila Lodge for 3 days in Serengeti. It was beyond description, an experience for all the senses and I felt like the queen of the Serengeti.

Thanks to Kempinski and East African Voyage for the experience .
